My friend Chris told me that I should absolutely not miss the Moby DJ set and he was absolutely right! I was fortunate enough to see Moby do another DJ set at The 9:30 Club in DC during President Obama's inauguration weekend. That night, the power went out on the whole block and when it came back on around 2 am, Moby just picked up from where he left off! Moby's Myspace seems to feature his more ambient music so I'd Youtube "Moby DJ Set" for better examples of what I'm talking about.
Now if you're not familiar with Cat Power, she's lovely. Another one Chris recommended and he said to "watch for the weird wiggly thing she does." She really does wiggle...
