The 90s are strong in the world of Alt Rock even to this day and getting a chance to interview The Offspring was like my late 1990s dream come true. The interview with Noodles should have been on WBRU's Blog, but of course isn't working right now. Reasons to always save your own stuff.
Part of me was hoping that I was going to be there for a live train wreck when Stone Temple Pilots played. I had heard Scott Weiland had fallen over the drum kit the week before. But this time, they held it together and I love those moments where you go "wow I really do know all these songs."
